U2

"Ordinary Love" (lyric video)

Irish arena kings U2 are releasing their "Ordinary Love" single for Record Store Day's Black Friday event (November 29), and that new track now has its own lyric video.

The song begins with U2 in a fairly mellow mood, as Bono croons over completive keyboard chords. The arrangement builds up as it goes along, eventually turning into an anthem that will doubtless sound great with a stadium singing along.

The song shows various walls, floors, sidewalks and desks getting defaced with lyrics from the song, and we see band members make some subtle cameos (including Bono showing off what look like fake knuckle tats). The song was penned for the upcoming biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, and the South African icon pops up as a painting.
