Tyler, the Creator Reams Out Camp Flog Gnaw Crowd for Booing Drake

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 11, 2019

Tyler, the Creator hosted his eighth annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival yesterday (November 10) in Los Angeles, but the surprise headliner wasn't Frank Ocean and fans were pissed — even though they got Drake. Now, Tyler has taken to social media to condemn the fans that booed Drake off the stage.

"I thought bringing one of the biggest artists on the fucking planet to a music festival was fire!" Tyler tweeted. "But flipside, a lil tone deaf knowing the specific crowd it drew. Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like assholes when It didn't come true and I don't fuck with that."

He was referring, of course, to the crowd's expectations that Ocean would be the surprise headliner.

Tyler went on to praise Drake for playing his favourite song, "Feel No Ways," an acknowledged that "mostly everyone was having a great time" except for "those shits in the front."

He called them out for participating in "mob mentality" and "cancel culture in real life," and referred to their behaviour as "fucking trash."
