Two Star Tabernacle "Itchy"

Two Star Tabernacle "Itchy"
Jack White had teased some of his earliest work the other day, to help promote the next instalment of Third Man Records' Vault series, but in case 30 seconds of his Two Star Tabernacle project's "Itchy" just wasn't enough for you, you're in luck: a full stream of the raucous and bluesy recording is online now.

As previously reported, Two Star Tabernacle was a duo comprising White and Dan John Miller (Blanche). A January 1998 performance at Detroit's Gold Dollar venue captured pre-White Stripes performances of White-penned tunes "Hotel Yorba" and "Now Mary," but the preview is of the unreleased "Itchy."

As you'll hear below, courtesy of Rolling Stone, White gets pretty wild on the mic, shooting out a steady stream of clucked and yelped lines over a junked-up barn dance beat.

Two Star Tabernacle's full set appears as a full-length LP in the upcoming Vault series entry, which also includes a record from the Go, another from Jack White and the Bricks, and a 7-inch from Dead Weather. You'll find out more about the Third Man Records release over here.
