Published Nov 02, 2018Two people were stabbed at the Sony Music offices in London, UK, this morning.
Police were called to the Derry Street building around 11 a.m. local time. Employees were evacuated from the building as a precaution, as officers and paramedics entered the building.
A spokesperson for Scotland Yard said that two people sustained stabbing injuries, and that there was "no evidence of any firearms involved in this incident."
"It is not being treated as terror related," the spokesperson added.
UPDATE (11/2, 11:45 a.m. EDT): More details have now been revealed about the stabbing incident, with the BBC reporting that it involved a fight between two kitchen workers at Sony Music's central London headquarters. In a statement, Sony said two members of the catering team had been "involved in a violent altercation," and it was being investigated by police. A member of staff added to the BBC that the two kitchen workers were "slashing each other up." Both workers are now being held by police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
One man has been arrested in relation to the incident.

The BBC reports that neither of the stabbing victims sustained life-threatening injuries, and they are being treated at hospital.
According to Reuters, two members of Sony's catering staff were involved in the violent altercation.
