Two Hours Traffic Montreal, QC November 20

The much-loved Charlottetown, PEI combo were appropriately business-like, saying little aside from graciously thanking the organizers for their Friday night showcase. With Polaris Music Prize attention and a loyal, growing fan base, Two Hours Traffic have little to prove to Canadian music fans; their simple, bare-bones pop rock is a modestly pleasant pill to swallow. On this night, however, the band were determined to impress the international delegates in attendance in hopes of taking their brand across the world. As a result, there was a little more tension within their focused, workmanlike rock'n'roll.
