It's been a little while since we heard from UK production whiz Burial, who dropped a surprise 12-inch last year. While we don't have a new album to report on, we are happy to say that two of his classics are coming back to vinyl.
Burial's self-titled album and its follow-up, Untrue, will both be treated to 180-gram vinyl pressings.
It's worth noting off the bat that these are not reissues, per se. A press release emphasizes, "there's no new music, nothing remastered — just revised, improved and back in print."
That said, these new releases may improve on your other pressings of these albums. After all, they include the beatless atmospheric tracks that were previously only on the CD versions of each album.
Burial and Untrue will arrive back on vinyl on March 18. The records can be pre-ordered via Boomkat here and here.
