Two-Minute Miracles

Though prone to conducting industry showcases in solo or duet mode, principal Miracles worker J. Andrew Magoffin treated assembled delegates and fans to a solid, satisfying set of mostly-new songs performed by, and apparently written for, a full compliment of musicians. Some of the show’s credit is due to Two Hours Traffic bassist Andrew MacDonald, who filled in for the band’s usual four-stringer marvellously despite having just one rehearsal to prepare. The results of the serendipitous union were inspiring, as were Magoffin’s new songs, which will hopefully find their way to release sometime soon.
