Twisted Sister

Live at Wacken

BY Kendall ShieldsPublished Jul 1, 2005

If you thought you'd heard the last of Twisted Sister when they disbanded to the chagrin of nobody at all in October 1987, you were dead wrong. The 40 000 Germans assembled at Wacken Open Air for the band's 2003 reunion must have been counting the days. The crowd's enthusiasm for not just "I Wanna Rock"and "We're Not Gonna Take It" ("Hey Germany! Don't you take it, either!") but for the entire hour-and-45-minute set is as laudable as it is baffling. This live package also includes rare tracks from the band's early 1980s heyday, and interviews addressing their break-up, reunion, and 2003 U.S.O Tour of South Korea. (Eagle Vision)
