As we reported last year, Holy Fuck's Brian Borcherdt has teamed with Laura Hermiston of BB Guns to form Twist, and now the duo have released their latest music video with "Too Much Trouble."
The song is a hazy pop number in which beautifully sweet vocals are overlaid with sparse guitar plinks and lo-fi beats, with the arrangement getting slightly more urgent in the choruses. The accompanying video, directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick, is similarly bleary and mellow, as we see VHS-quality colour-tinted shots of a rural motorcycle journey.
As the video description explains: "Laura has a hungover Easy Rider daydream about hitting the road. She hops on the back of a motorcycle with a boy — leaving the city and all her troubles behind."
