Dark and moody UK ensemble the Twilight Sad's new, paradoxically titled Nobody Wants to Be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave LP finally makes it out to retailers October 28 through FatCat, but the band have put the whole thing up online early in case you wanted an early listen.
As previously reported, the record was cut at Mogwai's Castle of Doom studio in Glasgow, so it can be expected to feature a few foreboding sounds.
Previously revealed single "There's a Girl in the Corner" featured an Interpol-styled arrangement of saddened vocals and post-punk minimalism. Similar, grey days popsmithing is present on the futility-fuelled "I Could Give You All That You Don't Want," the dark and jangly "Drown So I Can Watch" and in the spacious, space-echo-effected vocals of piano ballad "Sometimes I Wished I Could Fall Asleep" ("you don't want me anymore / there's nothing left for us").
