TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek Starts New Label, Gets Trent Reznor for Inaugural Release

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 1, 2012

In addition to being a member of TV on the Radio, indie rock busybody Dave Sitek is a Jane's Addiction collaborator, songwriter, remixer and sought-after producer. Now, we can add record label boss to his already impressive résumé, since he has launched his own imprint.

The new label is called Federal Prism, and you can check out its website or Facebook page. That's the company's logo above.

The label's first release is a remix of Telepathe's "Destroyer" by Nine Inch Nails main guy Trent Reznor, Allesandro Cortini and Atticus Ross (the original version of the track is streaming below). If you pre-order the 12-inch picture disc here, you'll receive an instant download prior to the October 15 shipping date.

Judging by the images on the label's website, this picture disc had been designed to look like a massive CD. All copies are hand numbered with cover artwork silkscreened by Sitek.
