TV on the Radio, Jay Reatard, Pink Mountaintops, Isis To Play Suoni Per Il Popolo in June

Montreal's leffield music fest, Suoni Per Il Popolo, has revealed the bulk of its month-long concert schedule and line-up, which this year includes the likes of TV on the Radio, Jay Reatard, Pink Mountaintops, Tim Hecker, Isis, Six Organs of Admittance and Martin Schmidt of Matmos.

The annual festival, which runs from June 3 to June 30, will take place at Montreal's famed Casa Del Popolo and La Sala Rossa, with tickets going on sale April 15 and the calendar up online over here.

Along with the above artists, other acts playing the eclectic event include the Dirty Projectors, Clues, Dead Science, Sick Llama and Magik Markers. And as usual, the festival is holding a variety of special events, such as its Independent Label Series; the annual family day, Popolo in the Park, on June 20; a workshop series called Tools of the Trade; and a specially programmed event entitled Next Stop Freedom -€“ Legends of the Canadian Underground, which features such artists as John Oswald, Nomeansno, Gerard Van Herk (ex-Deja Voodoo), Christof Migone with Veda Hille, and Lisle Ellis (with Martin Schmidt from Matmos).
