Published May 05, 2015Next month, David Byrne will bring his "Contemporary Color" events to Toronto and Brooklyn. These shows will feature live musicians performing with colour guard accompaniment, and we can get a glimpse of the dynamic between dancers and musicians thanks to a new mini-documentary focusing on tUnE-yArDs.
The five-minute clip shows tUnE-yArDs mastermind Merrill Garbus meeting her colour guard team, Emanon. This meeting takes place at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH, and Garbus talks with the team and even tries out a few colour guard moves herself.
