Published Nov 14, 2013Atlanta's Trinidad Jame$ has been getting a trouncing on Twitter over comments he made at a New York concert earlier this week, saying that the East Coast scene had lost lustre and that the South "run y'all musically." As a dude that traditionally "give no fucks," he's skipping over the so-called controversy by dropping a new track called "L.I.A.A.R.S."
Following a spoken word intro about getting that cash, James jumps on a furious Mike Maejor beat to talk lames, fake friends, chillin' at Hot 97, and speaking the truth. He does some solid life-coaching in there too, telling peeps to not bottle up their true feelings ("if you hold your tongue...you gon' get depressed"). Sage advice, James.
