Trim

"RPG" (prod. James Blake)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 11, 2016

East London grime rapper Trim has dropped a new track titled "RPG," and it features production from a familiar collaborator — James Blake. The pair may have ditched their formerly used moniker Trimbal, but they haven't lost the creative chemistry in the studio.

Blake dropped the tune on his BBC Radio 1 residency last night (March 10), following up his own recently shared work like new single "Modern Soul" and Simon and Garfunkel cover "The Sound of Silence." The beat swings from thumping bass lines to twinkling glitched-out synths, with Trim's fiery flow providing a constant common thread throughout.
