Trent Reznor's Twitter Account, R.I.P. 2009-2009

BY Greg PrattPublished Jul 21, 2009

Trent Reznor's Twitter account, not one year old, has suddenly and tragically passed away. This follows a near-death experience for the account that found it - without much explanation - miraculously revived and brought back to life.

The Twitter account leaves behind Trent Reznor, who is slowly but surely putting his other project, Nine Inch Nails, to rest. Reznor will be very much alone; it is always a tragedy when the parent outlives the children.

Reznor's Twitter account also leaves behind Chris Cornell, making many wonder how Reznor will deliver his 140-word anti-Cornell sentiments.

The account also contributed to the good fight, most famously helping to raise money for a fan in need. The account never married, but does leave behind a legion of followers. Regardless, there will be no funeral service.

A photo of the corpse can be seen above. We apologize for its graphic nature.
