When we found out about the details for Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross's upcoming The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack, we kind of flipped our lids at news that Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O had teamed up with the Nine Inch Nails leader for a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song." If you haven't heard it yet, here's the track's new video, as delivered by The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo director David Fincher.
The electro-metal mashup has O channelling her howly, inner-Robert Plant atop synth squeals, while the jumbled digital video montage presents a barrage of images, from snarling animal mouths to flaming skulls to the fluid flow of what might be a vat of liquid mercury.
