Trent Reznor delivered new Nine Inch Nails material today (December 23) in the form of five-song EP Not the Actual Events, but that's not all that's in store from the revived band.

In an interview with Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe, Reznor revealed that NIN have "two new major" projects planned for the new year. While neither of the upcoming works were elaborated on, Reznor spoke about collaborations with now-official NIN bandmate Atticus Ross on more than 80 different pieces of music.

Reznor also revealed that he has no immediate plans to take Nine Inch Nails on the road. The two also spoke about the new EP and Reznor's recent work in film scoring.

Not the Actual Events is out today and you can stream it here. Reznor's Nine Inch Nails-related plans for 2017 also include vinyl reissues of BrokenThe Downward Spiral and The Fragile.
