Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Score Another Golden Globe Nomination
Earlier this year, Nine Inch Nails leader Trent Reznor took home a Golden Globe for Best Original Score for his work on the Facebook-themed drama The Social Network. Now, it's possible that lightning will strike twice, as Reznor has nabbed another Golden Globe nomination.

He's once again up for Best Original Score, this time for his work with longtime collaborator Atticus Ross (with whom he teamed up on The Social Network) for their The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo score.

The soundtrack came out digitally on December 9 (and includes that much-publicized Led Zeppelin cover with Karen O), while CD copies will drop on December 27 via Mute. The movie arrives in theatres on December 21.

Reznor and Ross are up against Ludovic Bource (The Artist), Abel Korzeniowski (W.E.), Howard Shore (Hugo) and John Williams (War Horse). The winner will be decided on January 15.

If you were curious about the nominees for Best Original Song, they are Lady Gaga and Elton John for "Hello Hello" (Gnomeo and Juliet), Chris Cornell for "The Keeper" (Machine Gun Preacher), Sinead O'Connor for "Lay Your Head Down" (Albert Nobbs), Mary J. Blige for "The Living Proof" (The Help), and Madonna for "Masterpiece" (W.E.).

Now we'll just have to wait and see whether Reznor and Ross can pick up their second straight Oscar nomination (and subsequent victory) also.
