Published Nov 08, 2011Western Canada is about to get a dose of rootsy, folk-tinged rock, as Vancouver bands Treelines and Portage & Main have announced a collaborative tour that will include shows in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The tour kicks off on November 18 in Kelowna, BC (Treelines' home city before they relocated to Vancouver). The two acts will then continue east for a number of Prairie shows. There are eight dates in total, so check out the collaborative schedule below.
Interestingly, the joint trip doesn't include a hometown gig. Perhaps this is because Treelines will be playing their own Vancouver show shortly after the jaunt ends. They will perform at the Rio Theatre on December 10 with We Are the City and Fields of Green.
Treelines and Porage & Main will both be supporting their self-titled LPs, released in 2009 and 2011, respectively. Treelines also have an EP, Young Man, released last year.
