Travis Scott's Terrible New Merch Item Is Just a Marked-Up Stuffed Animal

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Sep 12, 2016

Travis Scott recently dropped a new collection of merch alongside his latest LP, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. While one could argue that a lot of items from any artist are overpriced, one of Scott's latest pieces might just take the cake.

Along with an array of shirts, socks, hats, bandanas, Zippo lighters, flashlights, pillows, and "Let's Get It"-branded condoms, Scott is also selling a plush bald eagle for $50 USD. Internet sleuths also found the exact bird on another site listed for considerably less, retailing on StuffedSafari.com for $12.99 USD.

Of course it isn't the first time that Scott has done something similar to this, but one would at least hope for $50 this bird would be branded with a Bathing Ape logo or could shout Scott's "STRAIGHT UP" ad-lib when you press its wing.

Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is out now through Grand Hustle/Epic. Thanks to Stereogum for the tip.
