BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 15, 2012

Canuck rock heroes the Tragically Hip released their new album Now for Plan A earlier this month, and now the beloved group are preparing to promote it with a tour of their home and native land.

The national outing launches in British Columbia in January. From there, the band will head across the Prairies and travel east all the way to the Maritimes before heading back and wrapping up in Toronto on Valentine's Day. All told, they will play 17 Canadian shows in a little less than a month, and all of the dates are with Arkells.

A fan pre-sale will take place at the Hip's website starting tomorrow (October 16) at 10 a.m. local time.

Throughout the remainder of 2012, the band will be touring in the U.S., so see their full international schedule at their official website. Check out the Canadian dates below, and head to the band's website to listen to Now for Plan A in full.
