After losing two opening bands on their upcoming tour over allegations of sexual assault, PWR BTTM have now lost a touring member.

Multi-instrumentalist Cameron West, who helped with arrangements on the band's new Pageant LP and plays with them live, has exited the group.

He shared a statement via social media this morning (May 12), explaining his departure. It reads:

Hi everyone. Today, like many PWR BTTM fans, I was shocked to discover that sexual assault allegations were levied against Ben Hopkins. From my understanding, these accusations were in fact levied via e-mail months ago, but were left unshared with other members of the band, including myself. In order to provide the highest possible respect to everyone who has come forward, I am hereby ending my tenure with the band as an arranger and touring musician.

The remaining members of PWR BTTM, meanwhile, have cancelled tonight's album release show that was scheduled to take place at Rough Trade in Brooklyn.

The band have yet to comment on the status of their upcoming tour dates, which are still listed here.
