The Tough Alliance Announce Vinyl Reissues

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 9, 2015

Swedish electro-pop duo the Tough Alliance broke up in 2009, making 2007's A New Chance their final album. But even though they're gone — with Eric Berglund since going on to perform as CEO — the band will be celebrating their past by reissuing a couple of records on their own Sincerely Yours label (with distribution through Luxury Records).

There will be two records, marking the first time this music has been available on vinyl. One of them will combine two 2004 EPs: Holiday and Make It Happen. The other is the 2005 debut album The New School. They will both be available on June 25.

Below, watch videos for Holiday's title track and The New School's "Koka Kola Veins." If you're suitably impressed, Make It Happen/Holiday can be pre-ordered here, and The New School can be pre-ordered here. You can also currently grab the vinyl version of the duo's 2006 effort Escaping Your Ambitions over here

There's no word as to whether all of the Tough Alliance's catalogue will eventually be reissued, or if what we see here is the full campaign.
