Like Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat before them, Vancouver's Tough Age are proving that opposites attract by placing some calming visuals behind their plucky garage rock single "I Waste Too Much Time on Myself."
While the band's high-energy arrangement of clanging surf guitars, punchy drum beats and sundae sweet oohs and ahhs course through the speakers, a slow-mo montage of tai chi moves unfurls across the screen. Artistic flourishes of retro-style VHS fuzz or two-tone overlays may mar the flow of the meditative movements from time to time, but it's ultimately a calming sight to see.
