Touch and Go to Reissue Negative Approach's Debut Seven-Inch
The most frustrating aspect of being a fan of early hardcore punk is the fact that the vinyl is so damn expensive. A genre favourite of collector scum, classic hardcore records usually come with high price tags, whether in real life or on eBay. Still, if you're the kind of person who simply wants to listen to the songs on a record, you don't need a rare first pressing. You should also be thanking Touch and Go right about now, since the label has decided to reissue the first EP from Detroit hardcore legends Negative Approach.

The self-titled, ten-song effort originally came out in 1982 and was limited to 3,000 copies. The rare, out-of-print original record is currently listed with Buy It Now price of $350 U.S. on eBay.

For the reissue, Touch and Go has remastered the original recording, and will drop the re-release of Negative Approach on October 12. The new pressing can be pre-ordered here.
