Published Jun 07, 2012Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs recently got major props from Blur's Damon Albarn in the form of an appearance on his DRC Music album, and now the British dance music producer also known as Orlando Higginbottom will be striking out on his own with a tour of North America.
The summer trek will be in support of his debut album, Trouble, which is due out on June 12 through Casablanca Records. The trip includes a stop at Lollapalooza in Chicago, plus two Canadian dates: Vancouver on August 3 and Montreal on August 11. There are nine North American dates in all. See the schedule below.
Along the way, TEED with be selling Trouble. A press release describes the soon-to-be-released LP as combining Higginbottom's vocals with "sub-bass, electro bounciness and washed-out synths that combine to create a stunning piece of modern dancefloor pop."
