The 11th edition of Toronto's internationally acclaimed X Avant New Music Festival is set to take place this fall, and organizers from the Music Gallery have unveiled the lineup for this year's event.

Running from October 13 to 16, Arcade Fire violinist Sarah Neufeld tops this year's lineup with her rhythmic new album The Ridge. Electronic music pioneer Pauline Oliveros and Art Ensemble of Chicago co-founder Roscoe Mitchell will also headline, along with Toronto producer Egyptrixx.

The lineup will also feature Toronto hip-hop griot Motion, Dun Dun Band, Noah Mintz, Anne Bourne, Merganzer (a.k.a. Mika Posen), Dialectica, Deenzi and DJs from Toronto's online radio station TRP, who will re-emerge from hiatus for a night of music and visuals.

A full festival pass will cost $40, while ticket prices for individual events vary. Full festival and ticketing information can be found through the Music Gallery's official website.
