Published Oct 15, 2012Last year, Toronto's Not Dead Yet festival brought a number of hardcore and punk bands together for a nine-show spree around the city. Things are now steadily getting bigger and better for the sophomore edition, with 11 concerts bringing out acts like the Men, Magrudergrind and more to Hogtown.
The festival runs November 7 to 11, with the previously reported Grass Widow gig at Parts + Labour on November 6 acting as a pre-fest party. The first proper Not Dead Yet event will be a photo show November 7 collecting work from Limp Wrist/Los Crudos singer Martin Sorrondeguy, though the venue has yet to be determined.
UPDATE: The photo show will be held at the Huntclub (709 College St.).
From there, venues across town will host matinee and evening shows that will bring out-of-country artists like the aforementioned artists, as well as Iron Lung, Give, Hoax, the Inmates and more to T-dot stages. Canadian acts like punk-and-roll favourites Burning Love and Ottawa hardcore troupe Pregnancy Scares will also appear.
You can check out the details of the entire schedule on Not Dead Yet's website and pick up tickets here.
