Toronto's Neon Windbreaker Release New EP via Sandwiches and Fruit

All right music fans, we hope you're hungry. Toronto noisemakers Neon Windbreaker are getting ready to release a new EP, which will be released digitally with the download instructions attached to pieces of food.

The EP is called Sandwich + Fruit and will be revealed during the band's upcoming show on Thursday (February 3) at Rainbow Palace in Toronto. Fittingly, the group will be releasing it along with actual sandwiches and fruits.

As the band explained in a press release, "Limited to 10 chicken sandwiches (with homemade bread), 10 vegan sandwiches (also homemade bread) and 30 apples, oranges and bananas, the only way to get the album will be by eating it at the show and receiving the download instructions affixed."

The PR added, "The EP takes consumption to a new level, by not only being an aural treat, but as an edible one as well."

Along with the EP's release show, Neon Windbreaker have some more Toronto dates booked, plus a Kingston gig and a handful of SXSW appearances. See the schedule below.

In the coming months, the group will also "figure out how to get other versions of the songs out other than in sandwich form and digitally."

We can't vouch for Neon Windbreaker's sandwich-making prowess, but you can download the hardcore-infused Sandwich + Fruit cut "RA" by clicking the arrow in the player below.
