Toronto's annual Manifesto Festival is entering its second decade this year, and in promising another giant celebration of contemporary youth arts and culture, organizers have lifted the curtain on the musical lineup for this year's main event.

Moving from its main festival from September to June, Manifesto will bring Majid Jordan, the Internet, Isaiah Rashad and Jidenna to Echo Beach on June 10. Locals Sean Leon, TiKA, the Sorority and Derin Falana are also set to perform, with more artists to be announced.

The marquee festival event, running from June 8 to 11, will also feature a launch party at the Drake Hotel on June 8 and a special edition of Manifesto's monthly party HIGH POWER. More festival events are set to be announced.

The date change for Manifesto also comes alongside an expansion of its programming, with the festival set to make itself "a locally-minded platform for music, art, dance, conversation and connection" all year. A press release reveals plans for a free Block Party event, art show and dance showcase later on in the year.

While we await more info on what else Manifesto has in store for the rest of the year, you can learn more about the festival and its many facets here.
