Toronto's Long Winter Concert Series Expands into the Summer with Construction
Fucked Up's Mike Haliechuk already spearheads the concert series Long Winter during the chilly months, and now he's expanding his scope into the summer with Construction.

This latest concert series — which is co-curated by Haliechuk along with Mark Pesci of Just Shows — will launch this month on April 19. It will continue through the spring and summer, offering bi-monthly events at Double Double Land or Smiling Buddha.

According to an announcement, "This new summer concert series will continue Long Winter's mission to create and build community by bringing together artists from disparate groups within Toronto's music scene."

Admission is on a sliding scale between $5 and $10. Every gig is all ages.

The lineup for the first gig at Double Double Land includes Tasseomancy, Wish, RLMDL, and DJs Cell Memory and Daniel Vila.
