Toronto's Invisible City Record Shop Forced to Close

The store is indefinitely closed until it can find a new location

Toronto has lost a vinyl hub this month after Invisible City Record Shop was forced to close its doors.

In a post earlier this month, the store's owners wrote, "Hey everyone, we're sorry to suddenly announce that the physical shop is closed indefinitely, the business we were sharing the space with has decided to go in a different direction that does not include us anymore $ :( we're looking for a new home now if anyone has any leads!"

Invisible City opened in late 2016 in Dundas West. It was formed out of the reissue label Invisible City Editions. That label, and the Invisible City online store, are both still up and running.

Here's hoping the folks at Invisible City can find a suitable new location soon.
