Fans of sweaty, loud and powerful honky tonk rock'n'roll in Toronto may want to pull out their calendars, as the East End Rockabilly Weekend #3 is hitting the city next month.

The three-day event celebrating rockabilly culture runs form September 16 to 18 and takes place at the Dominion (Queen 500 Queen St. E). Acts set to play the fest include the Royal Crowns, Alistair Christl and the Lonely, Tennessee Voodoo Coupe, the Kingmakers and Cousin Harley.

On top of performances, there are DJs, a hot rod show, dance lessons, and a "Honky Tonk Brunch." The weekend will also close on September 18 in celebration of Hank Williams's birthday, with live music coming courtesy of tribute act Hank Williams on the Lost Highway.

To top off all the good news, there is the Canadian debut of Two-Headed Cow, a documentary about legendary singer of Flat Duo Jets Dex Romweber.

Rockhouse T.O. will have more news as it comes, so check it out to stay informed. And for more information on the event, including the full the schedule and ticket information, head here for the Facebook events page.
