The Toronto Urban Roots Festival had already announced many of the artists that it would be bringing to the Ontario capital from September 18 to 20. Now, the lineup has got even bigger with the addition of a few new names.

This includes a new headlining act: alt-rock vets Pixies, who will cap off the Sunday (September 20) programming. Also new to the bill are Jim Bryson, Heartless Bastards, Hop Along, and Kitty, Daisy & Lewis.

The initial wave of artists announced for TURF included Wilco, Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Neko Case, Desaparecidos, Deerhunter, Built to Spill, the Sadies, Will Butler, Elliott Brood, Cold Specks, UB40, Cake, Lord Huron, Skydiggers and more. Subsequent expansions have added Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Passenger, Lucinda Williams, the Strumbellas, Ron Sexsmith, Royal Canoe and others.

Single-day tickets are now available, as are three-day passes. The single-day tickets are currently available for cheap thanks to early-bird pricing, but that deal will end tomorrow (June 10). Check out the options here.
