Ahead of releasing a debut mixtape next month, rising Toronto rapper Lil Berete has shared new single "Time Flies," which comes accompanied by a video.

Shot in Saint Vincent, the clear skies and sweeping island views are the perfect match for Berete's upbeat, melodic single. You can watch him deliver his bars in between shots of beachfront dance-offs, slow-motion cliff dives and watergun fights in the player below.

Lil Berete's history with the island goes back to 2016, having first visited Saint Vincent as part of a program aimed at reducing youth gun violence. That year, he travelled from his home in Regent Park to the Caribbean island to volunteer and engage with the community over a three-week period.

The video was directed by King Bee, while the song was produced by KR Moore.

"Time Flies" follows the release of singles "No Make Up," "Northside" and "Southside."
