Published Aug 18, 2015For Toronto music fans, it's time to get that bicycle tune-up you've been planning on. The annual Toronto Bicycle Music Festival will be returning on September 13, and it will be bringing free shows to parks across the city.
The sixth instalment of this pedal-powered yearly event will take place at Allan Gardens, Grange Park and Christie Pits Park. Music performers include Bry Webb and the Providers, Tanika Charles, the Heavyweights Brass Band, Maya Killtron, the Overtones and Hex.
There's also a dance-off from Toronto troupe Moon Runners, and what are being billed as "mobile performances" from Great James and Willow Rutherford.
The whole thing will run from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Check out the festival's website or Facebook event for further information. For a taste of what the day is all about, watch a 2013 video about the fest below.
