If Toro y Moi's new video for "Empty Nesters" teaches us one thing, it's that Chaz Bundick can straight up beat the Grim Reaper in a foot race. That said, judging by the rest of the clip, it's possible the bony baddie was just saving up his energy before gripping a pair of drum sticks and bashing out a funky beat.
Just as light-hearted as the song's jangle-pop tendencies is the video, which has Bundick gleefully showing off a cool pair of specs, riffing on mountaintops and skipping through graveyard settings. Though he's living free the same way an empty nester does once the kids leave home, mortality is apparently on his mind.
You'll find the video for the What For? track down below. The album lands April 7 Carpark Records.
As previously reported, Toro y Moi has a spring tour of North America on the horizon, with a Canadian date scheduled in Toronto May 5. You'll find the full details here.
