Vancouver rap unit Too High Crew have teamed up with their hometown rivals Rap Goofz for a mildly contentious collaborative freelease called Frienemies.
The title track is the main attraction and pits Too High's RyRy against the Goofz' Jay Bone. Atop a caliente conga beat, the pair trade passive aggressive bars that have commend each other's basic decency, while still maintaining each other's rap flow is wack. Elsewhere, you get a couple of Rap Goofz exclusives and remixes of tracks from Fraser Street vets Too High Crew.
As previously reported, Too High Crew are celebrate their new Welcome to Fraser Street mixtape with a release party this Thursday (July 4) at Vancouver's Cobalt. Rap Goofz are also set to perform the party.
