Watch the White brothers explore Orlando's waterfront

Edwin and Andy White have announced plans for their latest release as Tonstartssbandht. The pair will bring Petunia to the world on October 22 via Mexican Summer, and today, they've shared a sneak peek at what's to come with their new single "What Has Happened."

The song arrives with its own Florida-shot music video, which finds the White brothers meandering through Orlando's waterfront parks. Shot on Super 8 film, the video was directed by Case Mahan.

"That nocturnal bird that showed up midday gave us permission to film a heavy subject on a beautiful afternoon," Mahan said of the shoot. "Not premeditated, everything seemed to fall into place much like the band's performances that are sometimes seemingly improvised."

The majority of the record was also written and recorded in Orlando, where the White brothers reside. Petunia was mixed by Joseph Santarpia and Roberto Pagano in San Fransisco and marks the band's follow-up to 2017's Sorcerer.

"It's the first time we've ever brought someone else into the mixing stage," Andy White said in a statement.

The pair are due to hit the road in late October, though their currently scheduled dates do not include any Canadian stops for now. Fans north of the border will just have to settle for some new music.
