Montreal beatmaker Tommy Kruise has a couple of free Quebec shows coming up this week, and those who come to his show in Montreal on Friday (April 25) will get an exclusive 12-inch through Scion Sessions. Now, the single's two songs can be heard ahead of time.
A-side "Hers" overlays head-bobbing hip-hop beats with twinkling synth melodies and swaths of bleary, pitch-altered samples. On the flip, "Have Funds" is similarly bleary, but its beats are slightly more urgent.
