Tom Wilson has teamed with iskwē and Chuck Copenace for a new rendition of "Blue Moon Drive."

The trio's recording of the track, which first appeared on Wilson's Beautiful Scars album as Lee Harvey Osmond, can be streamed below, arriving today through Red Music Rising. A lyric video for the single is due to arrive November 12.

Wilson and iskwē recorded "Blue Moon Drive" live off the floor at Jukasa Studios in Six Nations, ON, while Copenace tracked his trumpet in Winnipeg. The Ontario ensemble is rounded out by keyboardist Jesse O'Brien, drummer Ray Farrugia, bassist Anna Ruddick and guitarist Bill Dillon.

Wilson explained in a statement that the recording was borne out of a collaborative performance with iskwē at the Indspire Awards in March. "We had never sung together so until we actually stepped up to the microphone and started to sing we didn't know that we had a little bit of magic going on between us," he said. "We are able to now share that magic with you."

iskwē added that while "the song was written awhile ago, and it had its home...now it has a new home, and it feels very much like a new energy has been infused into it. This is just the beginning!"
