Consider Meg White discourse once again resolved: she's a great drummer. After her skills were questioned on Twitter, many people came to the White Stripes' drummer's defence, including Jack White (who shared a poem about her) and Nandi Bushell (who played a drum cover). You can now add Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello to that list, since he has called her "one of the greatest drummers in the history of rock 'n' roll."

In an Instagram post shared over the weekend, Morello posted a photo of Meg White, writing that he was here to "set fools straight."

He continued, "There are a HANDFUL of drummers EVER who are INSTANTLY recognizable rocking their MANY HIT SONGS with Flavor, Fire & Flair. She's on that list, bruh. Does she do a lot a complicated tom tom fills? No, THANK GOD." Praising White's "style and swag," he went on to dismiss "all you boring-ass skin beaters who think we care about your 'tight' syncopated para-diddles." He added that Jack White agrees with his assessment.

Of course, if anyone knows about unique and simple playing, it's Morello, since many of his most famous RATM riffs consist of peculiar scratches, whirrs and bleeps that are miles away from your average guitar shredder.
