Tom DeLonge is facing the long road ahead in his post-Blink-182 days. Before he drops four albums, 15 novels and lord knows what else, he'll release To the Stars..., a collection of B-sides and demos. The album's standalone tracks have been a mixed bag so far, and things are even weirder now with the release of "Circle-Jerk-Pit."
Is it possible for a song with that lazy of a title to be any good? The answer, of course, is absolutely not. Yes, it's the fastest "punk" song DeLonge has released in a while, but it lacks any semblance of melody or effort. It sounds like an out-of-touch dude reminiscing about the Warped Tour.
That's not to say you shouldn't give it a listen, at least for a chuckle or two. To the Stars... is due out on April 21.
