Vancouver singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. made his television debut last night (February 26), appearing as the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Jesso Jr. led a performance of "How Could You Babe" from behind his piano, getting some musical accompaniment courtesy of Fallon's house band the Roots and some powerful back-up singers. Delivering a rousing rendition of the tune, the full band definitely injected the tune with a lush, soulful sound.
