Titus Andronicus and Craig Finn

"No Future"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 22, 2016

Ahead of a stretch of joint U.S. dates, New Jersey punk band Titus Andronicus and Midwest singer-songwriter Craig Finn have revealed a digital split single. The two-song set finds the acts interpreting each other's material, specifically a pair of songs that both go by the name "No Future."

Finn has remodelled Titus Andronicus' "No Future," from 2008's The Airing of Grievances, taking the tune from its bleak and expansive, distortion-blasted origins into a surprisingly hearty and folksy strummer.

Somewhat similarly, Titus Andronicus' Patrick Stickles has stripped down Finn's "No Future," from 2012's Clear Eyes, Full Heart, scrubbing the fuzz-bass and live drums in favour of a one-man job.

You can hear both tracks below, where you'll also find all of the date info for the acts' "No Faith / No Future / No Problem" tour.

As previously reported, Titus Andronicus will head out on the road later this year with La Sera.
