Timbaland Serves Up Timbo Thursdays

If you're a hip-hop artist and you have some free new music you want to drop piece by piece on a weekly basis, you just might want to claim a day quickly, as Timbaland just called Thursdays. In the wake of Kanye West's monumental G.O.O.D. Fridays program and Swizz Beatz's nascent Monster Mondays, fellow super-producer Timbaland has decided to jump in the game with his new Timbo Thursdays. That's totally cool and all, but his series title sort of sounds like a fast food menu special.

A report on Rap Up points to Timbo's Twitter account, which had the rap mogul announcing his intentions.

"So, my brother told me kanye is puttin out a new song every friday call good fridays, swizz got mondays," he wrote. "I dont know if they are on twitter but can you hit them up and tell them reserve that thursday for timbo da king baby. We'll call it timbo thursday cool?"

It's unclear what material will be dished out pro bono, but it's possible that Timbaland could be leaking tunes from his upcoming Shock Value III. It could very well be whatever dude is working on in the clip below. As we count down the hours leading up to this Thursday (November 4), let's just hope that he's not serving up outtakes from Chris Cornell's Scream.
