Ought frontman Tim Darcy revealed plans for his solo debut late last year, and before Saturday Night lands in its entirety next month, the Montreal musician has offered up a brand new video.
Following the visuals for "Tall Glass of Water," "Still Waking Up" has been given the screen treatment. The video was directed by none other than U.S. Girls' Meg Remy, and it features the ever-suave, acoustic guitar-sporting Darcy serenading a lady from outside her bedroom window. From there, things take a trip through psychedelic images and shots of blooming flowers before we get a final look at the woman being wooed.
It ends rather ambiguously, denying viewers a happy rom-com ending, but you can read into it whatever you like by watching the video for "Still Waking Up" below.
