Published Nov 22, 2016A ex-employee of Jay Z's music and video streaming service Tidal has filed a lawsuit against the company citing sex and pregnancy discrimination.
In documents obtained by TMZ, former employee and new mother Lisette Paulson alleges she was fired from the company the day after asking executives to use a breast pump in a private room. Paulson then claims that Tidal COO Desiree Perez told her to go use a bathroom instead of using a private office.
The lawsuit alleges that Tidal violated both the Fair Labor Standards Act, in addition to New York state labor laws. Representatives for the streaming service have yet to respond to requests for comment.
