Published Jul 15, 2014Two high-ranking indie rock fixtures will be joining forces this fall, with both Sonic Youth icon Thurston Moore and lo-fi royals Sebadoh set to tour together later this year.
The trip is a quick one and comes following a few upcoming festival and club dates on their own, but it was confirmed today (July 15) that Moore will be heading out on the road with Lou Barlow and co. come October. The mini-trip begins at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on October 3 and will wrap up further down the West Coast in Santa Ana, CA.
You'll find all of the show details, including Moore's upcoming solo appearances at Toronto's Riot Fest and Victoria's Rifflandia, down below.
Sebadoh will be touring behind their 2013 comeback album Defend Yourself. But as for Moore's post-Chelsea Light Moving plans, it had been reported earlier this year that a solo set would arrive through Matador in June. More recently, Moore revealed in concert that the set is called The Best Day, and that it will actually come out in September. Firmer details have yet to be delivered.
